FRONT COVER - DRAFT 6
On my sixth draft of my music magazine I put back in the masthead, included the main image, the bar code.
However on my next draft I am going to change the main image after I’ve done my photoshoot.
The main image for my music magazine front cover is just temporary, as i am going to get the proper image of it after the christmas holidays :)

FRONT COVER - DRAFT 3
This is the third draft of my music magazine front cover, since the last draft I have kept the same conventional layout, I have included another sell line “WIN YOUR CHANCE TO GO TO DOWNLOAD”, I changed the font of the masthead to more clear and easier to read font, I went out to a band practice and took my own photograph and replaced the pictures that were there previously. And from my own photographs I went on the internet and created my own posters.

Image idea's for my music magazine front cover :)
For the subsidiary images I am contemplating on including signed photographs of the band "This is Suffering". My idea for them is to re-create the image of hale Williams but take photographs of the band member's individually.

FRONT COVER - DRAFT 2
This is the second draft of my music magazine front cover, I decided to change the conventional layout out of the magazine, I’m not particularly pleased with the layout.
From the last rough draft I did of the music magazine front cover, I decided to change the sell line from “NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN KEEP OUT OF REACH!” to “THE MUSIC MAGAZINE WITH A BITE”.
For the free posters I am going to take my own photographs and I am going to produce my own posters. And instead of giving out free stickers I have decided to give out free signed photographs as they have more traditional value.
The aspects which I do not like of the design are the
- The background image.
- The effect of “Feather”.
- Free stickers.
- The font of the masthead (The font makes the masthead hard to read.)
The aspects which I do like about the design are the
- The masthead
- The sell line “MUSIC MAGAZINE WITH A BITE”.

- The idea of giving away free gifts; free posters.

FRONT COVER - DRAFT 1
This is the first conventional layout that I decided to base my contents page, this layout is from the magazine Kerrang! and is the current contents page for the magazine, I don’t particularly like the layout of the this magazine as all of the contents that I am going to place on the page appears to be too “quashed” and a tight fit.
This is the first draft for my music magazine cover, I’m not particularly pleased with the design so far as I know that I could produce a better layout and design for the front cover of my music magazine.

Mission Statement for music magazine. :)
Nymphetamine is a new music magazine which will focus primarily on the heavy metal and screamo genre. Nymphetamine will take a whole new perspective on music and the ways that are represented.
Nymphetamine is aimed at a target audience at the age of 16 and older, preferably over the age of 20.
Nymphetamine you contains all of the things which music lovers would be interested in such as, up coming gigs and tours, new band which are in the charts.

Scene Kid Overload!
Age: 16 and over.
Appearance? Colourful skinny jeans, tight colourful tops, skating trainers, high tops etc. Preferably long emo hair, hats, headphones, facial piercing; snake bites and other obscure piercings.
Listening to? Heavy metal, screamo, such as Eyes set to kill, Cancer bats, Pulled apart by horses, Beneath the sky, Devil driver, Suicide silence, Cradle of filth, Underoath, Hadouken, Escape the fate, The black out, Marionette, Medic droid, Watch out there’s ghosts, 4dbling, White tie affair, Bubble gum octopus, Picture me broken and Alesana.
Wants to be? In a famous screamo band and to be recognized as a sex God.
Find him? At gigs, in most pits, hanging in the skate park, with large groups people and on some occasions being followed by large groups of girls xD
Princess of Darkness!
Age: 16 – 25
Appearance? Her appearance would mostly contain the colours black but maybe a few brighter colours, black skinny jeans with new rocks boots and a corset type top, long black hair with an emo fringe and lots of black make up such as eyeliner, pale foundation and red lipstick.
Listening to? Cradle of filth, Deathstars, Valluna, Deathgaze, beneath the sky, eyes set to kill, marionette.
Wants to be? Be accepted for who she is and a singer.
Find her? At gigs, with friends and sometimes on her own.

Rock Sound (:
I like the front cover of "Rock Sound" because the main image featured one of my favorite band, also the layout of the magazine is interesting set out, the use of bright colours attracts readers. The main reasons why i liked the front cover is because my favorite bands was featured on it and it looks interesting.

Evaluation of my school magazine cover.
The name of my school magazine is “intelligence is the key”, I think that the name of my magazine is an appropriate choice as it relates to school and education, also “intelligence is the key” was one of the most popular choices. The connotations of the mast head is that intelligence is the key to success within academic establishment and is also and important aspect in education. I think that the colour scheme of the masthead is appropriate as it is associated with the school. The masthead is of sufficient size as it isn’t too small to read.
There is a main image on the front cover of the story it is representing, the story which I am representing is exam success, the way I represented this is by taking a photograph of some students holding certificates. The composition of the main image is in the centre of the page, I placed the subsidiary images along the side of the main image as they won’t be obstructing the main image.
The subsidiary images are an appropriate size as they are easy to see also they are in an appropriate position on the page as they aren’t obstructing the view of the main image. The subsidiary images give a clear indication of the story which they are representing.
Yes there is sell lines on my school magazine front cover, also the sell lines give a clear indication about the contents of the magazine. The language is informative and entertaining as it very simple and easy to understand. I haven’t used any literary devices on my front cover, the spelling and punctuation is accurate and yes I have used different fonts. I think that the font size is clear and appropriate.
The layout and design is clear and well organized, I think and hope that my school magazine front cover is appealing to the reader.
The three aspects of my school magazine front cover which are successful are the masthead as it is associates with the school, the photograph which I had taken as they give clear indications if the stories that is being represented.
I think the three aspects which could be improved are the photographs, the layout and design and the ideas for the subsidiary images.
